We took our time to develop our mlm strategy around the product of another company, develop a compensation plan that look good enough. We also put structures in place by signing necessary MOU with the company and a bank to make delivery of our compensation promises swift and timely.

We tried to launch out few weeks ago but are disappointed with the poor response we are receiving from our target market. i guess it is out promo strategy that is not right. so, right now, we are diappointed and frustrated.

Unprofitable Approach

If I understand you correctly, the company whose products you're marketing is not a network marketing company. You created a compensation plan and you're attempting to build a distributor base. And things have not worked the way you planned.

There are several things wrong with that approach.

1. You're trying to re-invent the wheel. You're taking on the role of an mlm company. And that is a very very expensive venture. The cost implication is huge! And why would you want to do that when there are hundreds of mlm company available globally?

2. The kind of arrangement you have in place will eventually cause serious problems down the line. For example, what happens when the company that manufactures the product begin to have leadership or management problems and go are unable to deliver the product to you at a price that is profitable or completely shut down?

3. MLM companies come under a lot of pressure from the authorities especially in terms of legality of the compensation plan and the marketing strategies employed by distributors. Do you know how expensive it is to manage a large group of distributors? MLM companies spend huge chunk of their revenue on compliance monitoring. Do you have all that cash?

Bottom line.

The better approach . . . if you love the mlm business model . . . is to find a network marketing company with products and compensation plan you love and partner with the company to generate steady residual income for yourself and your family.

No doubt you have learnt this the hard way.
